Its funny the company said they are shipping this month. What they don't tell you is how many. It's probably 20 units going to more people to test.

There are guys out there using these, but not posting any updates because everyone is foaming at the mouth about not getting their own. I understand the concern and would like to have one of my own eventually.

From the several times I've been able to shoot over one, I've been very impressed. It just flat out works. Once these are finally on the market and available, I'd bet most guys that are saying they will never buy one..... will.

I am pretty sure they will Jay. At &$600 a pop, they are not an item your average shooter will buy – not going to happen regardless of how good they are. It’s just there is a market out there and it has to be filled before that happens.

Chicken and egg - they are "waiting for the market to develop" before releasing, but in the meantime, announcing (and re-announcing) the release date while they wait for that market. All the while, pissing off the very market they are trying to capture. Meanwhile, I took the money that I got back from my Labradar pre-order and bought a Magnetospeed, which I suspect is the route a lot of guys will go while Labradar sits around "waiting for a market to develop". The shores of industry are littered with companies who were "too little, too late", which is where I suspect Labradar is headed.

Last weekend I found a good deal on a used Oehler. It will keep me content for a long time. Maybe if this comes about with no wait time, then I'll consider one.
