Strangely enough, there are still camels in Texas. Their lineage dates back to the 1850's when the Army experimented with them for travels between the Hill Country, west to the Rio Grande.

Today the state elections office notice, if you mail a ballot in don't count on it being received in time for Tuesday. So the Post Office may not deliver in state mail in 3 days.

Here in Idaho, all the USPS hiring is for part time help. $15 per hour, only 28 hours a week (to avoid having to offer any benefits), and they stopped drug screening two years ago. They can also avoid giving Veteran's points on new hires (Part time again).
Idaho is a right to Work state, makes it all possible.
It is even funnier/tragic with the railroads. Union Montana has union engineers bring the trains into Idaho, unhook, and have the non union engineers hook up and run the train cars to Oregon, where our non union guys unhook just inside Oregon and be replaced by union engineers who take the trains across Oregon. Reverse the deal when trains come East across Idaho.
We need to fix that "God Bless America" thing. It's broken. We need to flip it to; "American Bless God..." before it is too late.
