I was just watching a how it's made on shotguns where they talked about lapping the barrel, which made me think of nice shiny hand lapped barrels on rifles, which made me wonder...can they lap a gain twist barrel? Don't they form the lapping slug in the barrel they're lapping? And wouldn't the differentiation in the twist make the slug bind up? Or does the twist rate even matter when lapping?
