Please pray for my wife

My wife of 31 yrs and just 2 days shy of her 51 birthday, suffered a major stroke. She was also recovering from a spinal fusion surgery 3 months ago. I thank the emergency personnel and the doctors who treated her in the ER. She was quickly stabilized and flown to a specialty hospital in denver. She is paralyzed on her right side but can speak a little, and can still recognize people, so that's a big relief. The doctor is very positive about her situation, and the proper meds were administered quickly, so her prognosis is very good. We have a long road ahead of us but have a very good support group with family and friends. Thanks and God Bless
Prayers for both of you .

Here is an update. We moved her to a rehab hospital last week, she is slowly regaining strength, feeling, and movement. She is very upbeat and working very hard. Her Dr is very optimistic that she will regain all of her movement due to her young age, for a stroke patient. Again, Thank you all for the heartfelt messages and prayers. I will keep updates posted the best i can.

Good morning fellow forum members. It has been a busy time, and i haven't given an update for my wife. With her stroke recovery, our oldest son having back surgery to correct his scoliosis, our youngest son getting married, and our daughter getting engaged, lets just say i have had very little free time. But, the wife's recovery is going amazingly well albeit slow and still having a few residual issues from both the stroke and her spinal fusion. Doctors believe that she had a small clot cause her stroke, either from her surgery or an I.V.
She is actually back to work and enjoying life but is still unable to shoot a firearm, which is a small price to pay. Thanks for all the prayers and kind words, it really meant a lot to both of us.

Praise the Lord, this is such great news!
