I didn't even think of it but I also have some A max I could have thrown them in , I only use them for fire forming.

A side note- did you get a chance to look at my Senar ladder test?
 
Yes, I did however, I must confide that I don't use ladder tests cause I'm not able to filter out my shooting error from the load performance. But looking at yours, I see your sighter, and loads 1-3 all forming a nice water line, pretty close to POI. 9 & 10 are also close to a water line that's above POI. But as I said, I'm not skilled at reading that test. What are your impressions?

1-3 are low charges that won't get you to the promised land,IMO the mid charges are erratic for whatever reason however shots9-10 at 29.8- 30. Gr are level and not dropping off they should be around 2860-2880 FPS that's where I would look . The poa was all at the bullseye don't be concerned about that as powder charge increases will climb the ladder.

If the Promised Land is 1000 yds away, I'd have to agree, 2850 to 2880 is best. I typically use 2880 as a top velocity.
These will be fun to play with. I'm out of hybrids, and HPBT Hornadays. Down to about 400 A-Max, my favorite, so this will be the next trial. I'm not a competition shooter, so I don't use the volume of bullets a lot of guys do.

I'll PM with questions as events warrant after a few rounds down the barrel.
