My first build, and she's a peach even if I do say so myself.

Savage Target Action
Criterion, .308, 1 in 10, 28 in, bull barrel
XLR Industries Element chassis and butt stock
Murphy Precision stainless steel scope base
Vortex matched scope rings
Sightron SIII 10-50x X 50mm glass

Update on this build. i changed out the 32x Sightron for a 50x and have been shooting F/TR competitions with it. i got lucky enough to be added to a F/TR team here in Florida. the team just set the National mid range (300,500,600 yds) record for F/TR team shooting. my little build sure did it's part. shot a 199/11x @300, a 197/12x @ 500, and a 198/9x @ 600 yds. shooting the wonderful 185 Berger Juggernauts. it definitely made the job easier for me, the weak link in the chain.;)

My 280AI on a Pierce Titanium receiver, Shilen, Jewell, and Brown custom Kevlar stock.

I'd like to see some more detail pics of your 1917, I built my 1917 as a double duty hunt/tactical in original chambering, .30-'06, not much left is original, but it will drop right back into a mil stock with a little inletting for the Timney trigger.

This is my Eddystone 1917 in .30-'06. CBI 26" barrel, DT COO conversion to bolt, Timney trigger set at 3.5#, bolt, extractor and follower jewelled, customized 20moa added Redfield Jr. scope base, Bushnell 3200 10x, Boyd's Prairie Hunter stock, modified Voodoo Tactical cheek pad.

Still have to finish the metal work and coat it all flat black, but she shoots quite nice with factory ammo right now, haven't built a load for the new barrel yet.

Looks good!

Man, that sure is pretty and done in a timeless style! I really need to get mine into the studio, but I don't normally photo entire long guns as I do product photography mostly and would need to rearrange everything, lol.
