Purchased this old Hart BR rifle last week here in Australia. From what I can tell it is very original.
Some of you folk in the US may be familiar with this model. It's built on the Hart number 2 action and chambered in 222mag.

Here is mine. It is a Factory Savage in 308. It has a CentAR 20 MOA Aluminum Base, Warne Silver Low Rings, and a Weaver T36 FCH. It loves the 185 Match VLDs. I just added a Triad Tactical Stock Pack to do away with the hideous plastic cheek piece. I've yet to get a picture of it. The bipod is one I made. Nothing fancy, but it sits way too high. I've recently ordered some aluminum to make new legs that are shorter.

Firstly , a big thanks to Forum Members , Barlow , Changeling , Flatlander & 22XC who PM'd me about the 220 Swift I intended to have built , these guys offered advice and suggested suitable powders & projectiles and encouragement . Thanks also to my 'smith Keith Hills who started it all & to Alan Murray who shaped and inletted the walnut stock.I sanded and finished the stock in Tung Oil.

The rifle is built on a Pierce Eng Rem 700 SA receiver, I have a .260 Rem also on the same action.
The barrel is a Krieger 26" Varmint profile 1:14". The stock blank is a piece of English Walnut from a tree over 100 years old and was supplied by Roger Vardy. Scoped with a Kahles KX 3.5-10 X 50.
I have fire formed some cases and can also say that sighting in with Hornady 50 gr 220 Swift Factory loads, the rifle shot a group just over the inch.

Build specs for Dual purpose :

-Defiance tactical S/A with a STD bolt face and a magnum
-26 inch Douglas barrel modified medium palma (5 inch straight shank) 1-7.5 twist w/badger thruster chambered in 6 SLR
or
-27 inch Broughton 5C 7.1 1-8 twist W/badger fte chambered in 6.5 saum
-AICS 1.5 chassis with Viperskin
-Atlas bipod + spigot mount adapter
-CG extreme trigger
-Vortex Razor HD

During initial load test the 6 SLR showed great potential with RL26 pushing the 115 Dtac at 3200 without pressure sign and 105 Amax at 3300 .

The 6.5 saum is a hammer with 140 hybrid pushing 3175 fps with 61.3 gr of H1000 with Rem brass.

It is not new but still I prefer this SR-25 (Stoner Rifle-25). It is easy to handle and shoots target without any difficulty. I loved it. 8)
