Zero333 has the solution. Two changes are recommended.
Push the straw all the way to the rear and cut the desired opening with an x a to knife. This insures you don’t have the straw in the wrong location.
Make the “crown” cuts on the part that sticks out much deeper. This allows individual sticks of powder to drop rather than multiple sticks.

As has been mentioned, wipe all with dryer sheets and WAIT until the final reading with the round count.

The straw mod shown by Zero333, has made a huge improvement.

How do I change the wait time between trickle chargers? I've read that's it's possible.

The only parameter that MAY have an effect on letting the scale settle during low speed trickle is S_S in the list below. The default parameter is 128 and the highest you can set it is 255 (milliseconds). There's no point in slowing down the other settings since the scale isn't anywhere near your target charge when those are used.
