Small bore F-Class should be shot at 100 and 200 yds. Let the sling shooters shoot the Dewar course.

Personally, I think it would be great to have an option to shoot 100/200, or even 300. Not a requirement, but an option, much like we have Midrange and Long Range. Not sure how the logistics would work, though. Then you will cut the number of ranges to less than half out there now. Most ranges don't have 200 yards.

F-SBR is NOT metric prone...that's for conventional sling shooters shooting that COF. Yes, we (F-SBR) shoot on the metric targets. That doesn't mean we fall under Metric Prone !!
I can't understand why this is soo difficult !!
Nahh...you know as well as I do, PRS and NRL are a completely different game. I'm talking slow fire prone at known distances on relatively tiny targets. Just stretching the distances out longer. That's NRL22 / smallbore PRS... they shoot that and further. I don't do tactical anything anymore after retiring from the U.S. ARMY !!
There is an F Class section in the rule book just like high powerI don't either!
F-sbr is not it's own sport with a separate rule book.
Everything applies except what specifically doesn't.
Either section 7 applies to f-sbr cof or there are no cof rules(guidelines?) for f-sbr
You resist section 7 applying but provide no other possible option.
edit - I think that technically we do shoot metric prone, just with different rifle and equipment rules than the sling shooters.
Our 8 matches for the 2018 season were approved by the NRA yesterday. Thanks for your help, everyone!
Only rules specific to F-sbr are included in that section. All other rules follow NRA Smallbore Rifle rules. As discussed earlier in this thread, the actual courses of fire are described in Section 7. Also as discussed earlier, there is a typo in this section on the courses of fire, in that the A-26/A-27 targets should NEVER be used for F-sbr.View attachment 1150383 View attachment 1150383
