The NRA has cancelled all sanctioned matches for May and June. Just received the email today from the NRA Tournaments Dept.

I assume that a club can still run the match if they choose, just that the scores and fees do not go to the NRA. Is that what this means?

Clyde - You are correct. I know of several venues doing just this.

It’s probably a good idea to get used to the NRA not being involved in competitions.

Entities across the country are diligently working toward getting back to business ASAP and the NRA decides (again) to drop back and punt.

One of the clubs, where I am a member, just started registering most of their monthly highpower matches with CMP rather than NRA. I was told that eventually the CMP will be maintaining classifications for the shooters, if they aren't doing that already.

my thoughts exactly. the last thing HP needs is CMP having full control of all matches and rule making.

More to the point, why? They just push paper after the fact and have nothing to do with running the match. There's nothing in their rule book that says we can't run a "COVID 2020" regional in Central Park.
