By now you've got the picture, but I'll add my +1 onto everyone elses experience. I've used Criterion's on a Remage & small shank Savage. Both are excellent shooters, 1/2 minute out to 300 yds, haven't tried anything out further yet.

Did business with them once and there were no problems. The item I wanted wasn't in stock and they told me the lead time, so I ordered a different one that was in stock and it turned out fine (criterion vs shilen). They did OK by me.

I've bought a lot of stuff from Jim over the years,and recently purchased stuff from James. I think James will take just as good care of the customers as Jim did. NSS is a company I trust buying from!

I have purchased 5 Criterion barrels from NSS, 3 from Jim and 2 from James. Both of them are very professional.

The Criterion barrels are excellent shooters. I always do load development at 100 yards but I shot my first ever 300 yard group on paper yesterday with my 20 Practical. I could barely see the target at that distance (target is designed for 100 yards) but despite that and varying wind I managed 5 shots which measured 1.125" ctc.
