I moly wet. Then rinse until clear in water. Polish on a bed of paper towels. Bath in acetone. Final polish on paper towels.

Back when folks used moly way back i tried it. Only time ive ever had corrosion in a stainless barrel. Weird stuff. Folks use it to not have to clean but carbon still happens.

Any reason you prefer moly over HBN ? I’d never use moly due to corrosion issues. HBN is non reactive and you could eat it without a problem. In fact it’s used as a lubricant in the food industry for these reasons.

Lets have another conversation about Moly. I have broken barrels in with it with 5 shots followed by a Squeaky clean scrubbing. After that Copper bullets all they way. I have noticed with this procedure my barrels don't copper foul.
