I want to use slightly larger bronze bore brush on .308 WIN. and 6.5 CM.
So what is the slightly larger for these two?

Secondly, it make sense to use larger brush?

It's actually .311. I don't know if anyone even makes one. Might have to go to 8mm

A 303 British is .311 diameter. I think that’s what he meant.

The AK47 is also .310-.311 diameter. You can find a lot of those

Are you using a decent quality brush? Or the ones that come in a Hoppe's kit?

No, it makes no sense. It will only wear out the bristles more quickly and cause excessive abrasion on the bore / crown.

Just use a high-quality bronze brush like the Dewey no harm brushes designed for the caliber you are cleaning, no reason to go into the weeds on this very simple concept.

If they are just a little to big you cannt push them thru the bore. I bought a pack of name brand 6mm. brushes and I couldn't force them down the bore.

Brushes are expendable commodities...your going to use them up and toss them, or
use them for a smaller caliber size later if this is something you want to do. I just toss em.
