I noticed the correct size bronze brush loses stiffness after about 100 strokes.
Tipton brushesAre you using a decent quality brush? Or the ones that come in a Hoppe's kit?
If they are just a little to big you cannt push them thru the bore. I bought a pack of name brand 6mm. brushes and I couldn't force them down the bore.I want to use slightly larger bronze bore brush on .308 WIN. and 6.5 CM.
So what is the slightly larger for these two?
Secondly, it make sense to use larger brush?
