New RCBS scale coming at some point

Why do I feel that Midway just marked it up 25% to get to the $1123.95 MSRP when RCBS actually said the MSRP was supposed to be $899???

Oh but I did notice that it's capable of 1000 max per charge powder dispense so that's great. Just what I need, a powder measure that dispenses 1/7 of a pound of powder....

Still no mention of warranty, that I have been able to find......Because you know someone is gonna need to use the warranty.
I noticed that mine will do that sometimes, trying to figure out why a search of the great web told me that the sensitivity of the scale is subject to barometric pressure differences, its that sensitive. I use a powder pan that I filed the handle on till it weighs and exact amount in my case 129.00gr exactly. However that weight can be off on any given day and the scale will read 128.98 or 129.01 you get the idea. A quick "re-zero" and its good to go and will not deviate at all during use. The more I use my FX120i the faster I get with it.
That price is more than three Chargemaster Lites.

I'm still fully willing to give it the benefit of doubt and I will still buy one and test it but I think the problem is they're really making it hard to like on paper right now. On paper they missed the mark in a weird way and that's what's sitting rough with people I think. Had their estimated MSRP been lower since it's a strain gauge OR had it been a magnetic restoration gauge for the $900 price then people would be more excited or at least less apprehensive.
For me it's like they're trying to compete in the sports car market and have decided to put a Honda engine in a Porsche body and hope nobody's gonna open the hood and charge the same as their nearest competitor, let's say a Corvette.

Yeah once I'm using it, it's fine. Just drifts when sitting there for a day or two.
I have all the weights if my powder pans recorded and labeled. That way it always working as a check weight when I pull the pan off the scale. Should read the exact weight of the pan in the negative scale if it's not drifting.
