It's a polished turd, unless we know how the scale mechanism works. The 1500 has one tenth (.1) grain resolution on the screen but it will throw charges that are as far as .8 grains away from the target, while saying it's dead nuts on the display.
The new RCBS powder dispenser goes for $840 and weighs a powder charge to .04 gn, and is an unknown quantity.
The V3 Autotrickler, Autothrow, with scale kit goes for about $950, and weighs a powder charge to .02 gn., and has a long history of reliable performance.
I bet a lot of people will spring for the extra c-note to get the known performance of the V3 system with double the stated accuracy. RCBS has almost priced themselves out of the market before the product is even released.

Not true. When used as a scale the value shown is the indicated weight+/-0.05 gr. When the scale is used with the dispenser the accuracy should be greater than +/-.05 gr.
The weight of the charge dispensed is not dependent on the resolution of the display.
A grain makes a huge difference in my setup, a Kernel not so much
No info on it yet, but apparently RCBS has been working on it for the past year.
Going to be a long, sleepless night. They’re supposed to be formally announcing it tomorrow. Not sure if they will include ‘for sale at retailers’ as well or if the formal announcement is simply to let everyone know what it’ll do and when they can buy it.
It’s .04 resolution.I'll trade my FX120i in straight away for that machine. My RCBS Chargemasters are already very accurate with .1gr resolution when verified on the FX120i. If that thing can hold .02gr resolution accurately and consistently, that would be the cat's a**!
Adams setup is excellent, but it is not very portable. This unit looks like it would power off of a battery pack and sit down on any solid surface and perform well. The new RCBS powder dispenser goes for $840 and weighs a powder charge to .04 gn, and is an unknown quantity.
