New RCBS scale coming at some point

Personally, I will wait for the new scale to be put into use before concluding it won't work.

Agree and hear / see some 1st hand customer reports before buying as well. Looks interesting tho.

Thanks for posting "jthor"
I'm interested to hear where you are getting the info from as well. Are you affiliated with RCBS or the scale manufacturer?

I've held off on a digital but this may work although I'm not loving the lines. I prefer the solid tic tac toe lines, but that's just me.

Yep my very concern. If it doesn't go like they plan, RCBS pulls out and you figure it out. They did it with the Pact scale. But then again that's modern "throw away" technology. Throw it away or let someone else worry about it!

Not all Pact scales were bad. I have one and the thrower from 2007 that has never missed a beat.

I hope that RCBS is successful in their endeavor and will support them via a purchase if they are! That said, I always have, and will, keep a working/tuned balance beam scale on my bench... gravity ain’t failed yet:D!

Why can't I see it when I go to amazon? This thread has made me feel like there is a whole internet that I don't even know about.

$843 is more expensive than I thought it would be. Was really hoping to see sub $500.

And what's with the app? Does anyone really need a cell phone to press a button wirelessly when they are literally looking at said button?

Not sure why you think you're the only one using gravity. We are ALL weighing charges using one instrument or another, or sometimes even more than one. We are all looking for the weight, which is predicated on the acceleration provided by gravity.

Indeed, if it weren't for gravity, we would not even have to worry about ballistics, just conditions. Hum come to think of it, if there was no gravity, we wouldn't have any atmosphere to produce conditions that we have to read.

I don't know if I trust a reloading company to make a scale that is as good as a scale company making lab grade equipment.

$843? At that price, the balance might even be a magnetic force restoration design. Interesting. I see the two dispensing tubes, one for initial load and the second for finalizing the load.
