As is normal, I dont hold on to rifles very long and this is my new one to replace the one I just sold. Its basically the same setup. My new low profile stock in wood laminate painted white with an epoxy base. No one has ever asked for white and I just wanted to see how it would look. Its probably my favorite one I have owned so far, its really grown on me. I glued in a multi flat Bat B dual port. Stainless melonite action. I re cut the cocking ramp to get a little over .250" of firing pin fall, timed the action, blueprinted the ignition, lapped the lugs, fitted one of my over sized shrouds and used my new spring (similar to the old Bat spring). Thats the combo I like on my personal rifles. I put in a tuned up Bix n Andy as well. The barrel is a straight 1.250 Bartlien gain twist in a no turn 6 ppc for the tack driver. Then it will go back to LR BR work as a 6BRA and 257 Kulzer. I have some butt plates and rudders out for black anodize, I think they will look a little better. Just under 100 rounds of tuning on the barrel and its pretty close.
