I do believe you just described why most of the shooters are over 40 and most older. They can't afford it.^^^^^^^
A few years back I was at the range with my 30BR. Several 4-H club members, who had just finished their rim fire match, came over to look. They looked at the targets and were amazed. I asked one of the older ones if he wanted to shoot it. Heck yea.
I gave him a short lesson on bench technique and the 1.5 ounce trigger, and of course, the flags.
He shot a five shot group at around .250 inch. He was amazed
But then they started looking at all of the “stuff” I had there, (loading at the range), the flags, the bench set-up, the custom bullets, the very expensive rifle……….and you could see the balloon deflate.

We expect to see the LAPUA 223 REM brass in late 2024. Most likely DEC. Its been going into military brass to replenish stocks on military ammo in Europe and the Ukraine.223Rem isn't on the suspended list, but it has not been available in ages.

Alpha now makes ppc brass. The’ve shipped a bunch of it to 2 dealers already.I'm a prariedogger. I have hundreds of 6BR lapua, and just built a ppc to run 55s in. I'll be buying a thousand ppc when I can get em
