ps: If anyone gives a shite I took a $12 chicom gopro clamp holder and removed the main screw which had the machining in the pic. I added a wingnut and washer.

Sounds like this may be the end for Lab Radar! In this world if you sit and count your money, with little to no updates, something will come along and sink your battleship! I would love to be a fly on the wall at Lab Radar these days. Surely some interesting conversations taking place! Really makes no sense, as they literally owned this market and could still have a big market share if they had listened to their customers concerns and offered software updates. Oh well, the ship is headed to the bottom now. Live and learn I guess.

Personally, I don't think they are nearly the unit the Garmin is. At least mine wasn't. They'll need to cut the price in half to compete with Garmin at this point.

I was at Cabelas yesterday, (yes they had H4895) anyway when I asked about the Garmin the guy said they had some but there was also some kind of recall.
Any body know what’s up with that ?

I will order one eventually, based on the positive reviews. No big hurry since my LabRadar works. I’ll catch a sale sooner or later.

I think it seems overpriced, but I do see the convenience of the unit.

Unless you have a personal history with that particular individual, I wouldn't put a lot of confidence in anything from one random gun store employee, much less one from the sporting goods equivalent of Home Depot.

I used a piece of aluminum 5"x 1/8", and drilled 2 holes. One for the Garmin and one to attach to one of the front legs of my rest. Works great.

A couple of times now, I've had it pickup my son's shots, who's within arms reach of me. My SD went from 8 to 48 .... so it was easy to spot.

Good to know, we're pretty close at my local range and I was wondering if I'd need to adjust a bit.

made this mount for HP, its a bit outside the recommended spacing, but it still works for OH, sitting and prone. there's a groove in the part that goes around the rod, takes a number 19 ace hardware O-ring. It just slides up or down with the scope.

Guys, guys... The battery is indeed replaceable. Just need a T2 driver. You can even buy it on Amazon.

With that said, the battery should last forever. Anyone who owns Garmin products, knows this... They are known for incredible efficiency in battery usage. I own several of their watches, bike computers, etc.

I have been out three times in the last week trying to work the vertical out of my 22XC loads. Each time out I shot six rounds of my 80 SMK load with the Garmin running. Conditions were pretty close all three days. The Garmin gave me readings of 3290, 3292 and 3286. Pretty consistent I would say.

Well another boring garmin report, 106 rounds fired today at 3 yard lines. 106 rounds caught by the garmin.
downloaded perfectly to the tablet which is running a shot marker also. another member was using his garmin to my left, his story is the same boring one also. No cross problems.
A side note, seemed like my shot marker was a little slow today, 45 degrees out. When i finished i noticed that it had fell off the front seat onto the floor. I was backed in. so on the floor 30 feet behind me, with the top right sensor unplugged, caught every shot. I didnt notice when i mounted the sensor hub that the one cable pulled out.
