I tried mine down range with an air rifle and was able to get readings only three yards from backstop. The velocity numbers seemed accurate catching only nine feet of pellet flight. Out of curiosity I tried shrinking that distance down to only two yards but the Garmin didn’t register. This is way less than the 20 yards which the manual states.

Used mine for the first time today. Very easy to use. I'm very happy after my first test session. 4 different rifles. App paired easy as pie. Two thumbs up.
As I was packing up to leave the range today, there was a shooter two tables down shooting from a standing position off a tripod holding the rifle about 5ft high. He was standing between the shooting table and his tripod set up and I went over to see how my Garmin might work just sitting it on his table, being ~30" off to the side and ~24" back from the muzzle. It didn't miss a shot and readings were relatively consistent for the factory ammo he was shooting.

I used mine Saturday at a 1K match. It told me my rifle was out of tune during the first relay when it was cold and sped up in to tune for the last relay. It’s so small and easy to use there’s no reason to not to leave it in my shooting bag and use it all the time. Highly recommended!

I've been unable to locate one of these units. Cabela's, Sheels, Optics Planet, etc are all out of stock. Are you guys getting on a waiting list or how are you finding them?

You just have to keep checking. A buddy of mine checked Scheels first thing this morning and they were out of stock. He checked again a couple hours later and scored one. I kept checking Cabelas a couple times a day and got mine.

Tap Export CSV and you can save it to phone, or text it, or email it, airdrop it, etc just like other files on your phone.

Any way to do it without going through the app? I'm not necessarily opposed to that route, just a little leery of it being the *only* way to get data out.

I've read of some sort of file available via USB, but you'd have to get it translated and it's not straightforward. Can't recall the extension. No direct experience with it though.
