New Garmin Xero C1 Radar Chronograph

Hit End session on chrono
App gets data, add notes to data in app if desired
Tap Export CSV and you can save it to phone, or text it, or email it, airdrop it, etc just like other files on your phone.

Any way to do it without going through the app? I'm not necessarily opposed to that route, just a little leery of it being the *only* way to get data out.

I've read of some sort of file available via USB, but you'd have to get it translated and it's not straightforward. Can't recall the extension. No direct experience with it though.

So, with the overnight success of the new chrono I have to wonder when Garmin will produce a reliable distance shot camera?
That's part of the business they are in...no ?

I have an off barrel mount for my MagnetoSpeed, and I use it a lot, but the Garmin is just handier - I use it all the time. I've discovered that I have a 45 shot SD under 10. I'm pretty happy with that.

Got mine to the range for the first time today. I turn it on and it needs a software update, ugh. I can't seem to work around the update and think I'm screwed because there is no wifi. I start the update and within ~2min it's done! Must have worked through the Bluetooth connection to my phone. Not bad.

So I get to shooting and this thing picks up every shot, braked, suppressed, sub sonic, even some 4300fps 22-250 loads. I'm shooting known loads and the Garmin is reading them about the same or in some cases just a little slower than the cheap Calwell I used before.

You really do not have to aim this thing at all. I was shooting two different targets in the same 20shot string. One at 100 and the other at 200 it picked up every shot with no noticable deviation in the readings.

In the pic you can see my white frame on the right at 100 and the large gong on the far left at 200. All I did was pivot the rifle.

I get mine tomorrow. I will be glad to get more consistent readings with the Garmin. My labradar would always miss shots even with the magnetic switch attachment; very frustrating to say the least.

I got one a week or so ago. As others have mentioned...It is small. Went to the range and picked a bench between 2 other shooters. I mounted the Xero on Bald Eagle Slingshot rest with a small plate I had worked up. The first thing it did was complete an update. The update was seamless. All I did was watch. Took me a little bit to get it set up as I didn't take the instructions with me! However, all was very easy and I was up and running. I fired 15 shots, different weight bullets out of my 257 WBY. It never missed a shot! And, of importance...It never picked up a single shot fired by the 2 guys next to me. I went home smiling like a Cheshire cat!

It's in and ready for use. It didn't indicate any update needed when turned on but it was easy to setup and pair to phone app.

Took ours to the range today. Recorded 3 relays, for the wife and I @ 600.
This thing is nice. End session and it moves the data to my Android S8+.
Didn't drop a shot and I tried various positions. Would move it towards my position when I shot and back closer to her when she shot.
Scores weren't terrible and my new barrel has sped up. Guess it's time for some more load work.
This is the wife's 22 Nosgar, and some of the data. My 22 Nosler with 85.5 Bergers on the right.

My Xero will be here Mon. I tried to download ShotView and I got a message that my device is not compatible. I have a Samsung S8 with a 7.0 operating system. I Googled ShotView app. He says I need a 10 system. Is there a work around for this. I will be 80 in two weeks so please take it easy on me.
