My son and I have been talking about an upgrade.Checked the app, my Motorola g 2022 is compatible. Does require Android 10 and up. Mine is a 12. Work around, a new phone?

Mine said the same thing. I'm not buying a new phone just to run the app! Ha ha I do have a new Galaxy tablet for my Shot Marker so I'll download the app on it.My Xero will be here Mon. I tried to download ShotView and I got a message that my device is not compatible. I have a Samsung S8 with a 7.0 operating system. I Googled ShotView app. He says I need a 10 system. Is there a work around for this. I will be 80 in two weeks so please take it easy on me.![]()
Thanks for the tip. I run my Long Range camera on an older Galaxy also. I can upgrade that for a lot less than a new phone.Mine said the same thing. I'm not buying a new phone just to run the app! Ha ha I do have a new Galaxy tablet for my Shot Marker so I'll download the app on it.
Long story short: you have to turn it on, answer a question as to the velocity range you’re wanting to capture, press ok a couple times and set the Garmin down on the bench, pointed towards the target you’re shootin and begin firing. It just works. You can get all the basic information such as max/min, ES, SD, AVG etc with only the Garmin itself but you’ll have to write the info down in your old big chief notebook. The App allows you to store the data and make notes on each string as well as download to wherever.Alot of information gathered. What is to be learned from it? I'm over 70 years and often confused.
Thank you!
LOL. One caveat to my simplistic directions is I was somehow mystically able to get my Labradar to work within its capacity as well.
Your 80 years young. Get a new phone, you'll be around long enough to get a few more down the road. Enjoy your Garmin. My son and I have been talking about an upgrade.

I had asked a question about Garmins suggested placement(on bench).LOL. I have a Garmin and know how it works!
I couldn't figure out what the point was for the detailed information and diagram.
One thing I noticed is I couldn't down load the app until I had the device in hand and turned on. That was with an iPhone. Hopefully that might be your problem. My Xero will be here Mon.
