New Garmin Xero C1 Radar Chronograph

Made this little bracket for my Sinclair rest. All you need is a 1/2” x 20 tap and a $5 knob from Ace Hardware.

If you guys use a bracket to hold your Garmin and just need a case to store the unit and not the tripod, a case that the Burris XTR Signature rings come in works great. I just cut a little foam that came with some Alpha brass to add some extra padding and presto, a custom bullet proof case:) For free!

Has anyone successfully updated their firmware to the new 3.13 using ShotView?

When I got the unit a couple of weeks ago, it updated just fine to 3.11, but now it’s not updating. Wonder if their server is getting hammered as I think it just dropped today.

Mine updated fine. You should see a revolving indicator while it's uploading the file from phone/tablet to Xero. I've got an Iphone, I did see where some Android users had to disconnect and re-pair it.

iPhone 14Pro here and no luck so far. Should just update once connected to phone, right? Then restart Xero and ‘Boom!’, updated.

Yes, the phone will download the update, then when it's connected to the Xero it will transfer the update. When it's completed, the Xero will show an update and cancel button. Select update, you don't even have to turn it off. In ShotView, when you select your device, it should show connected and have a green dot on it. It should show Updates and either one is available or it's already up to date.

I kid you not, we were on a little road trip and my wife had the navigation deal programmed on her phone. It said speed check reported up ahead, and dang if there wasn’t a cop about two miles up the road.

I use waze and it's a wonderful app....

Here's how I'm using mine on the Neo-X.
Here it is https://amzn.to/3QPszkg but you will need a 1/4-20 to 3/8 adapter to stick it in the top of the post hole with the hex. Something like this https://amzn.to/3MvkT4o
So cool! I'm gonna have to put of these on my articulating arm. I am such a gadget nerd! I considered mounting my Garmin on top of My Rodzilla post, too. But it would place the unit back more than the recommended 15" max distance from the end of the muzzle.
