Drove to Cabela's and picked up a smallish box! Did some browsing in the store and came home. Man, this thing is small. My daughter came into the garage, looked at it, and said, "You paid how much for that?" It'll have to wait until next week before I try it out. I don't go to the range on the weekends...Too many commandos.

Took mine out today and compared the readings against my optical and MagnetoSpeed. Generally within a few FPS. It picked up the 22LR that the MagnetoSpeed did not. Only shots it missed were some pistol rounds that I think I was shooting a little too quick. If I gave a couple of seconds between shots it picked all of them up and is so much easier to set up. Not sure if there is a way to use a MagnetoSpeed on a pistol or that I would want to. Did not bring out the shot gun to try it on trap loads, but will try it soon. Also need to shoot an arrow or two over it when my shoulder heals up, but I expect it to work as it picked up the air rifle.

Wonder if maybe it can't serve a second purpose as a radar jammer on the highway?Picked mine up today from Cabela's with 10% savings they had last week for ship to store. Turned it on when I went to do a job at the projects to see if it would pick up a stray round.Found out it pegs the radar detector in the car, may have another use to see people hitting their brakes when you turn it on while on the freeway. Anyways I tested it with the pellet rifle in the back yard when I got home and it picked up the shots with no trouble. Need to get out to the rifle range and do some more comparison with the Magnetospeed and optical. I am sure those will be backups after how easy this is to setup and use. Sinked to the phone app instantly without having to plug any cables in like with the others. Did have to plug into the computer to load update and register, but was quick and painless.View attachment 1489120
I kid you not, we were on a little road trip and my wife had the navigation deal programmed on her phone. It said speed check reported up ahead, and dang if there wasn’t a cop about two miles up the road.

Used mine today on a busy 1000 yard line. Between myself and the person on the next relay, we chrono’d 51 shots. It picked up 100% of our shots, and zero from anyone else. There were shooters within 5’ of us, on both sides.

Unless the garage is over 20 yards deep it won't give you a reading. Per manual, needs 20 yards to target/backstop.

Three different rifles, 5 different pellet sizes, and over 100 shots fired - not a single missed recording. Impossible with the LR. 21 yards.

I see you have never fired a .50 BMG with gill brake off the bench.
The 5" clearance might save it but if you put it 15" out, it will be gone as is anything weighing < 5 lbs.

You’re right I haven’t. I’m also smart enough not to put a $600 electronic device in the blast path of of a muzzle brake on a Dasher let alone a 50. I learned this the hard way on my first Labradar and there’s absolutely no reason to have the Garmin anywhere close to it as well as it picks up shots anyway.

Made this little bracket for my Sinclair rest. All you need is a 1/2” x 20 tap and a $5 knob from Ace Hardware.

I got this articulating arm & clamp from Amazon to clamp on my Rodzilla. Should work the same on a Neo as well. I've got the unit spaced 6" from the side of the barrel and 10" behind the muzzel.

If you guys use a bracket to hold your Garmin and just need a case to store the unit and not the tripod, a case that the Burris XTR Signature rings come in works great. I just cut a little foam that came with some Alpha brass to add some extra padding and presto, a custom bullet proof case
