I think Jon had the Shilen barrel 20 years ago, so it might not be so good now! From memory Jon was shooting factory 1913s at Beijing, so it may have been past it's best then. No idea who fitted it, but probably Callum Fergusson before he gave up on smallbore.

Sorry I got one morning in the office and now in Indiana for another camp, I'll do it when I'm back next week. Sorry I was swamped Monday and left for here yesterday.



I did have a shilen barrel on an old rifle (anz action), dont know who that was but a good memory from them. Anyway that one is long gone, the one I have left was a selected barrel from anschutz directly for the Olympics in 2008, but I only used it a year or so before getting my bleiker.

It's nice to know my memory hasn't gone yet. Jon's "good memory" of the Shilen should include winning the Earl Haig for a second time: the Scottish Prone Smallbore Championship, 60 shots at 100 yards.
