Metal parts came back from cerrokote. I need to assemble and mount a scope.

First test session was terrible. Changed to a Leupold 36 and adjusted the huge take up in the trigger. Used some 25yr old Fiocchi V315 Super Match pistol ammo. It shows a lot of promise. Looking forward to Sunday's match.

Shot a 249-8x. I was 4th because of x count. I believe we had 18 shooters. It was a little breezy. It shows promise.

What course of fire and at what club pleas

Terrell Pistol&Rifle Club. I believe we use the ARA targets. 4 sighters on top and 25 bulls on the rest of the target. 50yds and no limits on your rifle or rests. This is for scoped rifles. They also do aperture sights.

I can’t find an info on the Terrell P&R site about up coming matches. Do you have a date and time for next match ?
We shoot a fun match on the second Saturday at 9 am over here at the Arlington Sportsman Club. We use the USBR target.

It is the fourth Sunday of the month and starts at 1PM. Please come and shoot with us. $10 entry fee for non members and a payback to the winner.

I didn't know you were shooting the match Butch. I have been intending to get started shooting it myself. I have an old 40X with Shillen barrel and McMillen stock and a H&R mod 12 for the iron sight match. Is Herb still killing everyone? He used to kick my butt in Bullseye Pistol too.

Herb is a good friend and a great shooter. If he doesn't win, he is usually second. Last match he dropped a point, but had 18X. 2nd place but way more Xs.

After installing my home made tuner I shot a 250-12x this morning. I will get back out and fool with the tuner, but I'm really pleased as of now.
