NEW ACTION- Pierce Engineering Skele-Ti

Dont blame you, I bet the tooling and scrap costs were not profitable. Thats light with a steel bolt! Will there be a steel action version as well?
Yeah the machinability of the grade of titanium we used for the bolts was very difficult. We wanted to offer an ultralight action so that’s where the concept of the lightened steel bolt and skeletonized action came from. To answer your question, yes this bolt will be available in a steel action and the action will also be skeletonized! Stay tuned for that!

Turnaround time on the long actions if ordered Monday?
Best to call and speak to our shop manager Jim. He handles all of the orders and business side of things. I want to say it’s around 5 months but don’t quote me on that. I’m just a machinist who likes to share our work. Thanks!

If a guy has an order in for a Ti action and bolt what are the chances that I could upgrade to the lighter action?

I have a standard Pierce action on a 25x47. The action is top notch. So smooth. It’s a very nice toy.
