Pierce Ti Featherweight

I wonder how light you can get with aluminum action with steel insert like a Panda, and a Ti bolt. "hint" "hint"
That would be very interesting. I would think that would be in the 14oz range for a complete action and bolt. Aluminum is about 60% of the weight of Ti. Our Ti short action body weighs 8.5oz and 60% of that is 5.1 oz. I don’t think the steel insert would be more than a couple ounces. So it would probably be about 2 oz lighter than our full Ti Featherweight action.

I know you make machine runs on CNC, but is there any way one could order the action with a Sako extractor on the bottom when the bolt is opened?

We only use Mini M16 extractors on these actions. You would have to call the shop and talk to Jim (manager) about altering the location for the extractor.
