Titanium as well ?I would have to weigh one. I don’t know off the top of my head. Less than an ounce I would say.
AluminumTitanium as well ?
That would be very interesting. I would think that would be in the 14oz range for a complete action and bolt. Aluminum is about 60% of the weight of Ti. Our Ti short action body weighs 8.5oz and 60% of that is 5.1 oz. I don’t think the steel insert would be more than a couple ounces. So it would probably be about 2 oz lighter than our full Ti Featherweight action.I wonder how light you can get with aluminum action with steel insert like a Panda, and a Ti bolt. "hint" "hint"
We only use Mini M16 extractors on these actions. You would have to call the shop and talk to Jim (manager) about altering the location for the extractor.I know you make machine runs on CNC, but is there any way one could order the action with a Sako extractor on the bottom when the bolt is opened?
How about no extractor- have you seen that go thru?We only use Mini M16 extractors on these actions. You would have to call the shop and talk to Jim (manager) about altering the location for the extractor.
I’ve seen many ordered without ejectors, but I personally haven’t seen one without an extractor. I don’t know how that would even work. How about no extractor- have you seen that go thru?
You just dont put it on there. Let the customer install oneI’ve seen many ordered without ejectors, but I personally haven’t seen one without an extractor. I don’t know how that would even work.
Oh okay I gotcha. I misunderstood. I was thinking you meant using the action without an extractor. I’m not sure if we have ever sent a bolt out without an extractor. You just dont put it on there. Let the customer install one
