Neck lube for seating ?

I currently use graphite with qtip on the inside of my case necks to smooth out bullet seating. It works however I wonder if there are any other tricks out there. I have also been kicking around the idea of running moly coated bullets because I would assume they take place of the graphite I currently use.

Thanks Corey

IMHO lube shouldn't be necessary unless you ultrasonically clean your brass. I just run a nylon brush in and out of the necks 3-4 passes. I don't try to get all the carbon out. It helps reduce friction on bullet seating. Jason has used the NECO moly kit for the inside of his necks that are cleaned with ultrasound.

IMHO Cue tip in graphite and swab inside of neck OR dip necks into small bee bee filled jar with graphite in it about 10 times to lube neck. Just make sure the bee bees are out of the casing when you are done. If moly coating bullets, none of the aforementioned is needed. Works for me. Friction is friction no matter what media is used to clena the brass.

If you use SS media you may want to try using considerably less neck tension (larger bushing) since the ultra-clean brass has more purchase on the bullet. Works great for me but your set-up may not.
You will even see some top shooters using light .001 tension for some rifles.
