On Sept 26 I placed an order for a Lyman Accu-prime. I paid for it and received an email confirmation. A week later I checked to see why I had not received it. I needed to put in all of the info to get the shipping info. It read that it will ship around Oct 24th!!!
WTH??? Had I had a clue they were running their company like this I would have looked elsewhere.

I think it just a office with computers that sources out it’s orders from other suppliers to get them filled.
 
Not sure why this post got moved to the "Optics area" as I did not purchase optics. This was originally posted in the "Main Forum" by me.

You have to be careful when you purchase an item and make sure
it's, In Stock, not just listed.
If you are not sure call.
If not, then they order it or they just wait for it to come in stock.
Most have stopped using them for this reason.
 
I’ve ordered a number of items from them over the past few years. I always enter the chat with them, asking if it is in stock and what deal they could offer me. If I accept the offer, they send an email with instructions for sending electronic payment. I’ve had no problems ordering and receiving items this way. The % discount offered seems to vary depending on the item. The chat seems to be manned only during business hours.
 
It’s typical of them. For most items if you click on the item and dig a little it MAY show the elongated ship dates. Take that with a grain of salt as I ordered an in stock item over a weekend only to have them tell me on Monday they had orders for more than their stock and my order was moved out a month!! They as well as other suppliers learned these tactics during the Covid supply issues and apparently decided customer service is no longer required….
 
If you don’t need something quickly then they are a good option. But I’ve found a lot of times you can get the same price from small vendors when you add in the savings of tax

They have for years. I stopped dealing with them from this issue. Few times it's happended so I left feedback and a less than good review from it. They need to indicate it the items are in stock or not. Not trick their customers into thinking they are.

It said "in stock". But yes I did not research here before placing my order.
 
Hope you receive it soon.
They must be getting worse at showing "in stock" and not having it.
Now you know why most have stopped using them.
Long time ago, they had some good deals. Think they changed hands
and went down hill.
Surprised they are still in business.
 
Most other companies I saw did not have them in stock and OP was $15 cheaper then others.
