My first 6mm.

Here is my first 6mm.
Thompson Center Compass, .243 Win. 1:10
Athlon Argos BTR 6-24x50 MOA Reticle
Junk bipod (looking to replace with Harris or?)

Started loading SGK85 over IMR4895. Got 3 loads ready for a ladder test
Bought a Chrony from the forums last week.
Targets printed, ready for range day.

As for 243 brass, what does everyone prefer?
Lapua
Peterson, SRP, LRP
Other?

Currently loading some range brass, Win, Win Nickel, Hornady, Remington. I have 1 bag of New Win brass.

Nice rig! My first 6mm was a 244 Remington on a Jap action.

Lapua and Peterson brass are both premium quality. If you’re going to be hunting I would steer away from SRP since you could get into hang fires with some primers in cold temps. SRP can work though in all conditions with the right primer and powder choice but why add that variable for a hunting application.
