MUST READ! Shame on the Today Show

If you didn't see it go to the Today Shows web page and see their big expose' on private sale of guns. They showed only semi auto's, assault rifles, a 50 BMG, etc. They made it look like any criminal can go to this or any other website and buy these type of weapons in your grocery store parking lot. Never mentioning or showing normal hunting rifles or shotguns. They went purely for the shock value to make their anti gun statement.
I urge all of you to go to their website and make a comment on this type of sensational one sided journalism.

I'm not a big Today show watcher but they have been promoting this segment all week so I figured I'd watch it just to see how bad they beat us up. Hope the NRA was watching too and gets about a Zillion responses sent to Today.

Here is my question to NBC: Where is your investigative program exposing how the Obama administration planned Fast and Furious in order to use the resulting Mexican Gang shootings to advance gun control legislation? It has been admitted that was the plan when the Feds put all those guns in the Mexicans' possession. They were trying to show that too many U.S. sold guns were winding up in Mexico and that gun sales must be further restricted. Everyone one from AG Eric Holder on down should have there A$$es thrown in jail - for a long time! I don't mean to turn this forum into a political op. but we are at a crossroads in America. If you have not involved to this point, please do. :-[

Funnily enough the Today show here in Australia did a similar thing a couple of years ago.....it was a gun control story and the "female" anchor told the viewers that at the moment it is a much higher vote for tighter gun control......several shooters were actually on the poll site at the time and it was the opposite - overwhelming support for no more tighter restrictions!! I have for years refused to watch this particular channel and this helps prove why (this channel also has 60 minutes - gutter journalism at its' best).

Lets see. Jeff Rossen paid two individuals to buy several firearms for him because he couldn't legally buy them himself in Arizona since he is not a resident of Arizona.
That would be the definition of a "straw purchase" and everyone is going to just look the other way because he is a journalist.
The issue here is that Jeff Rossen committed a felony, publicised it on national TV and nothing is being done about it.

Thank you, I actually posted two comments but I tried to stay somewhat sensible, trust me I wanted to really open up! I read several really good posts from forum members, when I made my first post it was on page 59 I think and right at 2200 posts, now 6 hours later there are 101 pages and over 4000 posts and a lot of them are from conservative people, that is a good thing usually it is the other way around.
