MidSouth Marksmen LR/MR Matches AEDC/Tullahoma TN

What a great day. Their were huge highs and heart breaking lows. Close match, for both F and sling shooters. If next week's long range match is half as good it's to be awesome.

Thanks to Tim, John V and Mrs. John V and especially John Huskey for working the pits all weekend. Without you guys and all the others who helped get the range ready this would not have come together like this.

We are 10 days out from the next 3x600 approved match at AEDC. Hope to see

you there and bring a new shooter if you can find one. This will be good practice

for those participating in the State MidRange Championship, which is to be held in

Memphis sometime in November.

Enquiring minds want to know, what was the name of the rifle you shot the clean with?
Congratulations on the great display of marksmanship. Now do it with that new Palma rifle.
You don't know, how lucky you are to have it....................................Tim

I'may hoping to come up tomorrow to finish the stock. I can't wait to start really shooting this rifle. I may bring up some brass to anneal if you have time. (I have German beer and ww231 as a bribe )

No Excuses trigger held up great today. You got it worked out at the 500y line last year!

Please be advised to the following change, to the published format for the 31Oct and 1Nov matches. Due to a conflict with NG requirements, We will be running a 6x600 match on the above mentioned dates. There will be no 1000 yd match. Sorry for the confusion, we will be dedicating this event in the memory of one of AEDC's greats, Mr. Dean Herron. So please come out and enjoy the weekend with us and bring a friend.

I wonder if people might be confused by the 6x600 comment. Well actually, I don't wonder since I see the confused e-mails coming in the MSM e-mail account. Obviously what you mean here is that on Saturday you will shoot three 20-shot strings at 600, and then on Sunday you will shoot three more 20-shot strings at 600. This would be a total of 6x20x600 for the two-days of shooting.

You are correct and I have sent out an additional email for those who were confused with my last match announcement. I some times forget we have a lot of new shooters with many questions. Funny, I haven't
had one prone shooter email me with questions. Wonder how come? ::)
