To All:
The NRA Competitions Division has just issued a Match Director's Bulletin for Camp Perry pertaining to Mid-Range and Long Range F-Open and F-T/R - Rifle Rests.
As you know this is a big year in that the Fullbore World Championship Practice Matches will follow Mid-Range and Long Range at Camp Perry, all in preparation for the 2015 Fullbore World Championships to be held there next year. Those fullbore championships will be using the International (ICFRA) Rules.
In an effort to be consistent and in the interest of fairness, NRA Rule 3.4.1 pertaining to Rifle rests is being waived for F-Class Mid-Range and Long Range and the ICFRA Rules adopted for those matches.
The Match Director's Bulletin making that change official are attached to this posting as a pdf file for you to read and use.
I apologize to those who may have already seen this in another posting under the topic "Rule Question - F-T/R", but I wanted to make sure that everyone who might be going to Perry can see it.
The actual effect of using the ICFRA Rules will be minimal, at most, for everyone already in compliance with NRA Rule 3.4.1.
Hope this helps,
Hope to see you at Perry,
