March majesta scope

I did just find one problem with the Majesta, it won't fit in my Plano air glide case.
I'm using x high scope rings and with the height of this turret it hits the handle on the
inside. :(
How about if you screw in the 0-set? You can use a coin, but if you look at the little black Allen wrench doodad, you will see that the wing on it fits the 0-set slot nicely.

Also, I don't think that's a problem with the Majesta, it's more an issue with the Piano case, or the rings.

Just ran my hands all over the scope. Nice. I didn't like the black sunshade, so my coatings guy is going to match the color to the scope...now, if only the rifle would come back from the gumsmith...

My understanding is that the body of the scope is the only item that was meant to be the titanium gray color, and all the doodads and add-ons are black. This two-tone look is very distinctive. The sunshade is an add-on. I always have a sunshade on my riflescopes, mainly for protection of the very expensive and critical objective element. I actually like the black sunshade in front of the grey body; it has a certain cachet, a certain je ne sais quoi, so to speak. In other words, it looks cool.

Epoxy is drying in the rings. I'll take it apart tomorrow evening and clean everything up and set up eye relief, plumb & final level...doesn't "match" the gun though.

Not yet; just finished taking it out of the epoxy, plumb & level. Can't get to the range until @ 1.5 weeks. After my daughter goes back to school. I'll post pics through the targetcam

Shot one at a midrange match today--UNBELIEVABLE. It was a perfect day for any scope with clear blue skies and sun in front of the targets. Looking through the Majesta today was just enjoyable. The eye box is very generous and the image is bright, crisp and incredibly clear. I've been using NF Comps and March 10-60x56 High Masters. I didn't make any direct comparisons today but can say I wasn't wishing for or wanting any other scope.

You can put the center dot wherever you want. Any leg of the X or any position on a ring.

Mine has the WFD reticle that facilitates perfect framing of the 10 ring with its center segmented circle. If you set up for center hold on prevailing wind, you can quickly verify center and fire with confidence. At 600 yards and 80X the stadia lines serve to verify zero cant. You can tell that running at lower power to have all the features at 600 of the segmented circle and the target frame references would make those shots that you hope are where you want them, due to mirage (sorry, I just can't say shimmer) much more confidently.

Despite wet grass and 97 degree temperature there was little mirage today. In fact I had a hard time picking up mirage with my Kowa 773 and the LER eyepiece. I ran the March at 80 all day and, as usual with the High Masters, they give you a clearer view of the mirage allowing you to ascertain direction without impairing target clarity. I am not talking about a nasty heavy mirage day. Everyone has trouble on those days.

The turrets are fantastic, large with great tactile feedback. I didn't use the shuriken (SP?) locks at all.

I did zoom out a few times to verify I was on my target. I didn't have to zoom out much. Funny, but I can't remember if I used the scope to peek at my neighbors target(s). I likely used the spotting scope for that. So I can't comment on the benefits of the wide angle as habit made me spend some time on the spotting scope.

All in all, the scope is amazing. It is great to have a reticle designed to help with F-Class shooting and it was a pleasure to use it all day. Several guys looked through the scope and all were impressed. One sling shooter declared that it was cheating to use a scope like that. Shhh--don't tell--it is!

I want to explain a little bit about the shuriken locks. Some people question the usefulness of such locks on the Majesta. Why do you need to lock the turrets in F-class? I completely agree, but then I ask why do you need such incredible turrets in F-Class? The shuriken turrets are among the best in the industry for tactile feedback, audible feedback, precise clicks and total lack of backlash. These turrets are the culmination of years of design and testing. Once they got the turrets they wanted, DEON is incorporating the shuriken turrets into a wide range of their riflescopes. Over at snipershide, they get rave reviews, and for good reasons.

Now the Majesta is the first new long range SFP riflescope from DEON since 2019 (March-X 10-60X56 HM). It incorporates everything that has been developed, tested and rolled out by DEON since 2019: High Master lens system with Super ED glass, Wide Angle Eyepiece, Fast focus eyepiece, Shuriken lock turrets with the tool less zero stop. All these components represent the state of the art. They have been assembled into the Majesta and it has set a new standard in long range high magnification riflescopes.

BTW, I now lock the turrets when I put my rifle in the case.

Patiently waited, received end of July. Mounted on new build and went to the range. Absolutely magnificent !! As usual with Deon (March), the glass clarity is second to none. In my opinion, perhaps the best scope on the planet and will dominate the F Class marketplace. The new reticle designed specifically for F Class is exceptional. Well worth the wait.

Will be interesting to see when Deon puts these optics on the Genesis platform, ELR hang on …..

Actually, March sells lightweight titanium rings in Majesta colour. Seems odd that Deon did not provide sunshade in same colour, with scope, sunshade, rings and leather lens caps, makes for a pleasing arrangement, more cool …..

The March titanium rings to which you refer are actually a product of Marchscopes UK. They are excellent rings and for those who are colo(u)r conscious, a good alternative. I opted for the Burris XTR Signature rings with the inserts, which I used to get my riflescope within a few MOAs of optical center at 1000 yards. At these prices, I want the very best IQ possible at 1000 yards.

You can get the titanium rings here.

I sent an email to Gary Costello (Marchscopes UK) to inquire if they would offer the sunshade in Majesta colour. Haven’t heard back, but hope so. Deon is surveying customers input as to the new colour for the sunshade. If either don’t, I will have a local shop match the colour and do my current black sunshade. Will probably cost less. Also, inquired about the ocular leather cap for the Majesta.

Honestly, given the quality and price of the Majesta I am suprised Deon does not offer these accessories in the new colour.
