I made a bench with your brackets. Its great. But sinch I usually carry it a bit I use plastic pipes for legs to keep the weight down. Works fine, thanks for the brackets.
Not as rigid as pipe but after you put a rifle, couple sand bags, ammo, binos, rangefinder etc on the top, it works fine. Have a fun trip.Never tried plastic pipes.
One other comment, I don't like 3 legs. 2 in front, 2 in back.
When I used a regular bench for PDn I made the top by sandwiching a piece of pink construction foam between two pieces of 1/4" plywood. It's stiffer and lighter than 3/4 plywood.I made a bench with your brackets. Its great. But sinch I usually carry it a bit I use plastic pipes for legs to keep the weight down. They look great, I'd wear some elbow pads or have a pillow for my elbow. The top is finished in sand to make a rough surface. Much better than a slick surface.
