This Sunday coming, April 22, is the seasons first Egg Shoot at Woodcock Rifle Range…………….
A couple of changes………….Because Savage Arms has been so gracious and given us five, 50% off certificates this year, and they will be awarded to the winners of the 200yd factory shoots this year, we expect a large turn out.
Therefore the following changes in the shooting setup………….
We will shoot both 300 yds,factory and custom) and 100 yds sporter / handgun first thing in the morning. Six benches set up for 300 and four for 100 yds. After this is completed, we will reconfigure the range for ten benches to be used at 200 yds for both factory and custom.
This will allow less wind for the rimfire and 300 yd folks to contend with early in the morning, and allow a full ten benches for the more popular 200 yd events.
I would suggest if you usually only shoot 200 yds, bring along a rimfire and shoot in the 100yd sporter class. I’ll be shooting my new CZ453 in 17HMR in the sporter class this time……..It’s a blast!
