I've actually received reply's to e-mails I've sent them via their site. Takes a few days but they do get back with helpful answers.

BTW, I love my Borecam. I use it regularly and for convenience I just use a portable "Power Bank" battery that also runs my Bullseye Target Cam and charges my smartphone. Can use it at the range this way w/o having to find a plug-in and run 300' of extension cord.

Been playing with mine a bit. I'll read through the thread and look at some pics but I have 2 comments

Mine sure seems more black and white. Than color. I'm scoping a fairly dirty bore know to copper fowl. I believe what I'm looking at is copper. But it's just shiny.

Second is light. I think some additional light would help the color.

Anybody have a tips for use out there?

Stick a q tip an inch in front of it , reflect the light off of it or use a clear patch on a rod . It takes. Bit of dancing . I bought a fiber optic Hair piece from Amazon , yes a fiber optic , battery operated hair fashion piece . It comes in diff color , but the white is a good place to start . Less than$5

Scratch that, I have a 3mm LED coming from ebay.

Also, when these were first rumored, they had the option of no monitor. Has anyone played with trying to plug into a larger-better monitor. Was thinking a laptop. but I also think the plug may be an issue

Actually, I did and they were very good. They said to send it back to Midsouth. They also spent quite a bit of time asking about my experience and thoughts about the product. I just this month got another one and have not had a problem. They have change the way the two parts of the rod are connected. In my opinion, it is well worth the price.
