LYMAN Borescope -GOOD Support...

Monitor, screen display - whatever you want to call it, broke on my Lyman Borescope. The on/off button seems to have disconnected from the circuit board. Mine was one of the early ones made and out of the two-year warranty period. I expected to pay for a repair or buy another.

Today a free monitor came in the mail. They replaced it out of warranty.

Missed that borescope the past few weeks. Funny how you get attached to a tool and use if often. They sure do work and now I see they back their product.

You just might find this experience good to know.

I do find that good to know! Mine powers up but shows just a blue screen. Like yours, its out of warranty so figured there was no sense sending it back. I didn't want to pay for repair or buy another as I'd had very limited use with mine. I suppose I can send it back & if they want me to do either they can take it to the dump.
I'll send it to them & see what happens.

Wondering if the wand, or whatever you call it, is a problem?

Send it back and ask them to check it out. The service rep., Nick, I spoke with twice was very cooperative. You may get more information if you call first and request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).
