looks like the New 223 is Working

1/3 moa at 600 is awesome! And I too, have become a LC convert. Glad you project is coming along so well. Good luck this season.

I have a question Froggy, Would an Ackley Improved really help with my velocity? I'm interested in building a 223 AI and I would love to shoot the 90 VLD's. I'd like to reach your numbers with a 28" barrel. Am I dreaming?

Understand wanting a shorter bbl, but it prob be too short when you do the set back, plus the longer bbl prob will help with the slower burning powders. Yes I think that you can achieve a bit more than I am getting with the AI version.

I think your estimated speed may be a little high but i could be wrong, if it is I would think your brass will have loose primer pockets,I know Lapua brass would be loose, I understand the Lake City is beefier around web area.
Lets us know on speed and how lake city stands up

Speed is 2950 fps, because I am using Wolf & Tula primers, looks like four times fired is going to be it.

Well in the mid range championship at Perry, the shot dang good. Managed a 98.8 shot percentage, with 43.3% being X's. Elevation was awesome, when the wind conditions allowed it, it was able maintain waterline elevation.
