I am new here, so HELLO! I recently got into tactical rifle(distance) competitions and I currently use a bolt (Savage) .308. Although I am a big fan of it, I want to move up to a lighter/faster rd for +1000yds.
I've been looking at the 6.5 Creedmoor, but I am not sure how this round is being recieved and if it'll stick around long enough for me to purchase a rifle chambered in it. Should I consider another calibre? Although reloading is not an option for me at the moment, it will be within this year.
I am also tossing around the gas v. bolt question. Although supreme accuracy is not my ultimate goal, I do want a .5moa rifle. I hear the Noveske N6 20" 6.5C is capable of that?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!
