Long shot with a .32-20 rifle

Is it safe to say you could hit an 18" steel at that 200 yard distance~? I'll be shooting an old Winchester 1885 Lo-Wall that has been gone through by a gentleman who specializes in refurbishing those old treasures.
Standing free hand 50% of the time, scoped prong 90% of the time. That was when I was 50 and shot silhouette regularly. At 72 and no longer shooting silhouette by % would not be near that high. Just my answer to your question
I don’t know what your gun or you are capable of. Sounds like a fun rifle. enjoy

A little more on the 32-20 it was a very popular cartridge in the “standing”class as well “production” class in handgun silhouette, I used cast bullets which it was well suited for. The 32-20 got pushed to the side when 300 whisper/blackout came out and I sold my 32-20 barrel and switched to the 300. After making my 1st. 200 blackout cases I was wishing I had the 32-20 back. It’s a fun and Accurate little round I hope you enjoy you Rifle should be a hoot to shoot.

I also used the 32-20 (30-20) in IHMSA with a 165 cast and ww680 powder. Never lost a ram although some went down pretty slowly. My best score was 38. Hit 39 but one shot was at the buzzer and didn't count

My Lo-Wall was in really good shape when I acquired it, but the caliber was totally obsolete ( .25RF ) unless I wanted to spend $4.00+ per cartridge (which I don't and never will). It will be chambered for .32-20 when I get it back and with my refinished stocks will look fantastic. I spent a lot of time getting the stocks done right. No short cuts~!! I'll be shooting steel at 100 Yards.
As far as enjoying it I expect I will. Thank you for your comment~!
