Up to a #3, Manners Elite EH6
Up to a #5, Manners Elite EH3

pretty much any of their Elite Hunters are great, but the EH4 looks pretty silly if you ask me.

I'm not sure the two are compatible, i.e. 'super lite and durable" synthetic stock. I like the B&C Medalist. It's super durable but not lite.

I've built a couple of hunting rifles using the B&C Duramaxx stocks. They are lightweight and plenty tough. I'm not sure how it would hold up parked too close to the campfire or frozen to a tree during an ice storm.

Hi-Tech makes one of the lightest stocks out there. They do require some work to make nice. But not to bad. They come in at about 20 -22 oz. I run one on my ultra light coyote rifle. :D:D

I have been very happy with the HS Precision Sporters. Light weight and very well made. Most rifles I put together with Remington actions and 26" Shilen #4s come out to about 7.5lbs without scope.

McMillan Hunters Edge. 22-26 ounces, depending on action inlet. 100% graphite, not foam.

Hello, my name is Max and I work at McMillan.

I second this. We can also build any of our stocks in EDGE Tech to reduce weight. If you want to learn more, feel free to give me a call or send an email. 623-582-9635 maxwell@mcmillanusa.com

Max- do yall make a sporter stock like the mountain rifle with a varmint barrel channel for like proof barrels? Most stocks that can accept the varmint contour are varmint shape and therefore too heavy for a featherweight build even with edge fill

Our HTG, Game Warden, and Game Hunter stocks can all accept the proof barrels, range from 26-30oz in EDGE technology.

Whats the retail price on those fully inletted? Im giving around $525 now for full carbon fiber with the small sporter shape like a factory bdl sporter at 22-24oz. Im not interested in a bigger physical shape than a mountain rifle or bdl sporter stock size

The stock I mentioned was $472.00 for a full inlet and recoil pad.

Look at the Remington hunter for a sendero sized barrel also. I like them.

The EH6A is a great stock, and designed for up to a proof medium... that wasn’t a direct reply to the above, just directed at you in general.

To the OP, I suggested the two Manners for several reasons... durability, light weight, very attractive, but mostly because they have reasonably high combs.
For some reason, stock makers often forget that hunters need a proper cheek weld too. For me, the McMillan hunters edge could have been a complete knockout (I own a few McMillans so not bashing) but the comb is far too low.

Behind those two (EH3/EH6) I’d suggest a plain old McMillan BDL.. very attractive stock.
