It was costing Leupold a bunch of money to repair/replace items installed by another manufacturer. I doubt you'll find a scope maker willing to honor their warranty on a scope that has been modified by someone else.
I agree but they did honor the warranty until they had a parting of ways.
+1A big shout out to Leupold company! Fellow rifleman and women be glad we have them and they are still American made! Truly a great American company. I don't blame them for not honoring their warranty after somebody has tampered with them.
