It looks like the 30w is enough to mark barrels deep enough to cerakote over them and still see the engraving. Would you agree or do you think a guy needs to buy a 50w or 60w?
Thank you. What lens are you running the 110?30 Watt is more than enough. You could cut the barrel in half, if you had enough time. Watts = how long it will take.
Also, smaller size lenses really change how fast it "cuts".

If I'm doing a large logo on a barrel (I have some guys that want 1 inch round logo) - I need the 225 to get enough focal depth to wrap around the barrel
Looks like a decent option for barrel marking, no? well, except for the software issue.... SO maybe not.
If you're looking for lighter work... Here's a review for a new 20 watt fiber, that's only 1,600 dollars right now.
I do have access to vent it out a window. Thanks!Fume extractors can be had, but they're expensive. If you can vent out a window, many people just use an inline duct fan of some sort.
