Lets see those hunting rifles

Red Gun - .243AI, 26-1/2" PacNor 13Twist, .273"NK, 0 Freebore. Burris Signature 8-32. Butt and forend are weighted, 17-1/4#. The stock was from a benchrest shooter who kind of tore both sides up removing the glue-in action. I rebuilt it with JB weld, works fine. Single shot block. That was around '90, got around to putting something into it about '93. I'm not concerned with how it looks and never painted it.

The Grey Gun - .243AI, 24-1/2"Pacnor 9"twist, same .273"NK, 0 Freebore. McMillan Sako Varmint pattern stock. Not light at 12-1/4# but easier to handle than that red one, also more muzzle jump. Burris Signature 6-24. I do a gun and like it, have another one made only setup differently. This was done a couple years after the red one, mid 90's.

I dig it!!

Ahhhhhh my favorite!! A Remington chambered in 06' almost finished with mine getting overhauled also in a McMillan edge fill.
Mine still has the factory tube and with the way it shoots I’m not changing anything. 180 grain Partions, Accubonds, and even 185 Berger LRBT always shoot sub MOA. Remington used to build a fine rifle

I should, coulda, woulda left mine alone, but noooooo I had to screw with it! Lol
It's going to get throat reamed and ceracoat on the barrel. Krieger 1n11 26".

Very nice , looks like a great rig for the woods . I can no longer use iron sights but I sure do like the looks of them on a hunting rifle.

Tang safety M77 ultralight '06.

Had it about a week and #4 son claimed it. Took a cpl deer in some pretty nasty hunting conditions, camping and hiking in.He's moved into some preemo black bear country and is getting a cheap 308 to bang around. He kept the straight 6 scope.

I've been cleaning it up a bit,and snagged a heckuva nice, thin reticle 5 star Redfield,
1-4X20. Shoots Lee 309-150F backed up with H4895 into bottle caps @50 yds with uncanny frequency. Lite, easy on the shoulder walk around gun.
