I don't understand your question but, all testing is done in a vice, with or without the stock.

Lee and Gene...It makes no difference if the end results are good. So far I have heard zero complaints from anyone buying ammo that performed great in the test tunnel but then didn't perform out in the real world. Not at all like the results shooters were getting in another test tunnel.

As I stated earlier, I'm very please with my experience and ammo purchase. Now if I could only shoot, 10 days into Lumbar surgery. The first seven were very rough, getting better all the time.

I second the positive experiences above.
I asked Luke about removing the tuner which I had done and he said that was the way he preferred. Then, when we had narrowed it down to 2 lots, he pointed out that it was smarter to take the lot that had the better horizontal result as the tuner would be able to reduce vertical. I went with his suggestion and upon putting the tuner on and redoing the fine tuning (it was very close), the results were and have been very good. When I do my part, they are even better than the test target thanks to the tuner. If you are thinking about doing it, I strongly recommend the experience and the results. When I run out I will be sending or going again for sure.

My question had to do with results, do you feel the results you got would been the same if you tested like you shoot the rifle at the range.
as John said as long as the results were good.

You may have something there, I know of 2 V3 and the owners are having a hard time locking in a tune and they are shooting that stuff in a red box
