I, too, have a lot of Wolf Match Extra that is great. It is the new stuff made by Eley in England.Midas should out shoot CenterX, but every gun is different. I am shooting a Lot of Wolf Match extra, that will out shoot anything, I have ever shot, CenterX, Midas, Eley match, Tennex all of it.
Good luck

Lee,
I hope to get some groups like those you posted once I've got a V-22S action barreled with a Shilen select match ratchet rifled blank. Spoke with Jill Parrot at VGW today while ordering some aluminum magazines for friends/customers; she thinks my action should be on its way to me in about a month...hope I've got time to get it barreled & set up in the stock when it gets here. Have a Sightron SIII 45x45 dot reticle scope for it when it's ready to shoot - only slightly more than somewhat jazzed about getting started on this rifle project.
DHH is Distance Hit to Hit, basically the distance between two consecutive shots. DHH(M) is the average of the DHHs in the group.
I haven’t figured out how I would use DHH. I guess if I had two groups of equal size, I would prefer the one where shots slowly migrate around (small DHHM) vs shots bouncing back and forth (large DHHM). Just because it would be easier to manage on target. Thanks for that information, I never pay attention to those numbers and only look at the final results.

Lee,
I fitted & chambered a Benchmark 3-groove for a CMP 40X that I'd had Jonathan Elrod convert to a repeater for the V-22 magazines. That was only the 2nd 22RF bbl I'd ever chambered, and it turned out not to shoot as well as the Lilja titebore & Krieger I did for the 2nd rifle I sent to Jonathan, a CMP 40XB. I tried the Benchmark because I'd heard so many positive reviews; I had some trouble with the EPS reamer I was using - for whatever reason, it stopped cutting about halfway through the chamber. I had other bbl jobs to do, so the BM was removed from the lathe and set aside to await shipment of a replacement reamer. I always felt that these circumstances had quite an effect on the finished accuracy of that bbl; whether they did or not, it certainly wasn't a fair trial of Benchmark's ability to turn out accurate bbls. Since I've had very good, consistent accuracy out of Krieger's 22RF blanks, I've used several of them, although they were all set up in repeaters used in PRS-style 22RF matches. I've got Bartlein, Krieger, and Shilen blanks in stock, so could use any of them on the V-22S. And I'm planning to buy & use a Nevius reamer for at least the 1st bbl for the Vudoo, which is likely to be the Shilen. I've never shot a RFBR match; my background is mostly NRA Hi Power, both XC & prone, so I'm looking to use the V-22S in F-class matches, which is why I ordered a RBRP version. Having said that, I do have quite a bit of interest in RFBR, and would like to try it also. Lots of desire to try different 22RF shooting styles, just not a lot of time to travel to find matches.

The average distance from the group centroid would be helpful to see.

Good luck.Update - I did purchase some different lot numbers of Midas to evaluate in both my rifles - speeds were 1070 and 1073 (my Center X that shot well had a speed of 1073). Both my guns liked the 1070 speed better and the Midas shot better (slightly) than my current Center X. The Midas is "advertised" as being more consistent so I purchased some of it. The competition in our local rimfire matches is so close now that 1 flier will drop you out of the running.
Thanks for all the comments.
Cardinal Shooting Center, MarengoCan some one tell me where you can test Lapua in Ohio.... jim
